Whalen Exteriors did great work! Highly recommended. They did our industrial sized garage flat-top rubber roof and porch railing and completed both projects in the anticipated time. The work looks good, and they cleaned everything up. Communication … More was good and pricing fair; at the outset, the bidder said he wasn’t sure if all materials would be needed and quoted the highest it could be with possibility of reduction due to unnecessary or unused materials, which is what happened.

My wife and I are very pleased with the siding, brick facade on our front porch, and new railing as well. The crew did a professional job throughout the entire process and were constantly communicating with us during the installation of … More the materials. The price was fair for the work we had done. I can't say enough positive things about the sales team and the installation crew during the process. I posted some pictures below of the finished product. We highly recommend them to do your future home projects.

Whalen was very professional from the initial roof inspection, cost proposal, scheduling and finally installation. They communicated with updates during every step of the process. Besides having them do a roof replacement, we had them … More install new siding with facia and window wraps. I highly recommend them for your project.

We knew our roof was in bad shape when we started this process. It was leaking in certain areas and some of the fascia wood needed replaced. We reached out to three companies as we always do with any major projects we have. The first company … More didn't even make an appointment. They said they can see the roof by flying a drone around the house. We reached back out to them and they said they didn't want to do the job. REALLY?!The second company sent a kid. What I mean by kid is he didn't look a day over 21! I explained to him what was wrong and what I wanted done. He did his little talk, took took a few photos and was on the phone with his boss longer than he talked to me. I asked him if they used Owens Corning products and he said that he never heard of them. WHAT?! They are one of the biggest companies in the roofing industry and you never heard of them. That sealed my decision right there and had no desire to continue the conversation. We had a standing appointment with the third company while this other BS was going on. I would use stronger language but not sure if Google would post if I did.The gentleman showed up, on time, and I explained the issues that I knew about and what I wanted done. We walked around the house and he was actually listening and talking notes. WOW, what a novel idea, a salesperson that takes time and listens to the customer. His name is Shawn Cousins. Then, he took out a drone to get a birds eye view of the entire project. We have three roofs. The main and two porch. The quote was sent to us in a timely manner and to my surprise, it had everything on it the we discussed. I don't know about you, but there is nothing worse than getting a quote for something then halfway through the project you get " We found that this and that needs replacing and it will cost $xxx amount more " I did not have that surprise with this company. I believe it was the time that Shawn took and listening to the issues that I had that made the difference. Now, on to the actual work. Tim and his crew were nothing but fantastic! Using tarps to protect the property Making sure that nothing was damaged throughout the process. Answering all my questions and concerns. Cleaning up every single piece of old roof and wood and using magnets to ensure that not a single nail was left. Doing all of this in 95°+ heat for two days. I can't say enough about them. From start to finish, it was a great experience. If you choose Whalen for your project, you will not be disappointed..

Our experience with Whalen Roofing and Exteriors went exceptionally well from start to finish. We had four different companies give estimates for replacing our roof and wrapping two windows. Mike Vokes was our salesman he explained each … More and every detail of replacing our roof. I had numerous questions which he answered no problem. We took some time picking a shingle color because our roof is prominent being we have a ranch style home. Mike was helpful gave use some addresses to drive by with the two colors we choose. Our next contact person was Mike McGuire who was the scheduling coordinator and he would call and let us know if weather was going to move our installation. The day of installation the crew arrived at 7 am. Bob our project coordinator was great answering all our questions and concerns. I have gardens all around my house and the crews took great care in protecting them!! The crew worked like a well oiled machine. The metal guy who wrapped our window was a young man named Kenny, his workmanship and attention to detail was phenomenal. The man knows how to do seamless caulking!!! Overall we are very pleased we chose Whalen. The customer service really shows with Tiffany the office manager. She helped us with all our warranties and registration and also sent documentation to our insurance company.

Great family-owned business explained everything very professional I can't emphasize that enough .showed drone photos and pictures of what different roofing tiles look like in various colors. They work with you take payments the crew … More that installs is amazing those guys really brave the heat they're fast efficient it's amazing how quick they got it done. And clean up was non-existent on my end. there are some tight spaces between the house and the neighbors. No complaints of anything hitting the neighbor's house. If you're thinking of getting a new roof I can't recommend them enough.

Wonderful team of installers of our Everlast composite siding from Whalen Exteriors. Their attention to each detail of the project was amazing! Our family and neighbors love the final result. The Spanish Moss color perfectly matched our … More forest green metal roof and window shutters. The composite siding is warranted for a lifetime! Whalen was an awesome company all the way around. Please don’t hesitate to contact them for your next home remodeling project.

Whalen Exteriors took all the stress out of the roof replacement process. My roof, due to a few leaks, required building a cricket, cutting out multiple new vents, and redoing flashing around a very large chimney. For all of this, the company … More charged a fair rate. They were also able to do all of it in just one day. I was so impressed. My neighbors also used Whalen for their replacements because they are a company you can trust to be fair in the pricing and to do the job well. I love my roof! The process of selecting colors, considering loan options, and more was a breeze, and the company documents all issues and repairs so you can physically see evidence of their work.

Whalen Exteriors workers were very detailed, hard working and skilled in their craft. The supervisor continually informed me of issues that arose during installation which made me more confident in their work. I asked for a few other additions … More and the supervisor took care of them quickly. We are very pleased with how the Everlast siding improves the look of our home.We have had a number of neighbors comment on how nice our home looks. We were pleased with the cost of our new siding.

We had new siding installed on our house. The entire process was explained from start to finish. The crew was friendly and showed up when they said they would. The entire project was completed in 7 days, where other companies quoted us … More 2+ weeks. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up each day before leaving. We had a wonderful experience with everyone at Whalen. Ricky, Kenny, and Mike M kept us informed of everything that was happening the entire time. We could not be happier with the finished results and would recommend Whalen to anyone!

We worked with Whalen to side our house with James Hardie siding. From the sales rep meeting where we worked through specific details of integrating siding with our already installed window and corner trim work to the install and cleanup … More of the crew on site, we only had a good experience with Whalen. We don't plan to side our house again, but we would hire them again if we were. The crew was respectful of our property and left every day after they took time to cleanup their site. We appreciated that very much. They also adhered to specific requests we had with some tricky spots on our house and even tacked up our FiOS line neater than it had been previously installed.
• Michael Robertson ★★★★★ 3 months ago
Whalen did an excellent job on our new roof. The crew worked through the hottest day in years to get the work done. The results are fantastic, the roof looks amazing. They tediously went around and cleaned up during the entire process. … More You can imagine how much debris is created from tearing off an old roof but it was gone in a couple of hours. We had a large roof and they wrapped everything up in less than 2 days.
• Justin Tinnemeyer ★★★★★ 4 months ago
I'm very satisfied with the work that Whalen performed on my house recently. The workers were very respectful of my time and my property, and the finished product looks great. Top notch, transparent, no bs, and professional outfit. They worked quickly but not rushed. Organized and clean. Refreshing to see a whole crew take pride in the craft which made it worth the price without breaking the bank. I started … More sending the number to all family and friends. Do yourself a favor and let Whalen give you the peace of mind that it will done right, the first time.

Superb experience! Excellent craftsmanship, and they showed up every day unless there was rain which only happened a few days. Our home needed some major maintenance and Whalen turned it from a nice home into a gorgeous home! We loved working … More with Mike McGuire and his crew. It was a very complex job and they skillfully handled every aspect of the project. We are 100% satisfied and we highly recommend Whalen Exteriors. Our barn will need a new roof and siding in a few years and we will definitely call Whalen Exteriors. These "before and after" photos don't really do it justice. There were so many tricky details to address and Mike and crew handled everything we threw at them. Special requests...no problem!New roof, Everlast siding (wonderful product), soffit, facia and gutters...Whalen handled it all flawlessly.

I wish we could remember everyone's names. They were the hardest workers we've seen in a very long time. Extremely nice folks. Mike checked back after the job was complete to make sure we were satisfied. The roof looks great!

My husband and I initiated our search for roofing companies by soliciting quotes from various providers. However, it was not until I conducted an online search for local roofing companies that Whalen Exteriors appeared in the results. Subsequently, … More I arranged for Mike, a salesman, to visit our residence, and I was impressed by his pleasant demeanor and ability to engage with our children. Mike furnished us with a highly reasonable price for the installation of premium color shingles on our roof. Following this, we elected to hire their services and discovered that they were remarkably easy to work with. Mike, the project manager, demonstrated exceptional accessibility, and his partner Kenny proved to be an invaluable resource, addressing all our queries and concerns in Mike's absence. Kenny was our project manager for our roof and did a fantastic job keeping us well informed and satisfied throughout the entire process. We did three quotes and ultimately selected Whalen because of the quality, warranty, professionalism, … More and competitive price point they offered. The quote came with several finance options but there was no pressure to select one which assured me that there were very few (or perhaps no) hidden incentives for Whalen in the options presented. In the end we went with a personal finance option mostly for our own convenience. For additional context we have a fairly complex roof so it was important to us that we select someone we could trust. The Whalen has been in the area for decades now which gave us additional assurances that we were working with a very reputable company. They also used technology and professionalism that made us feel like we were working with a fortune 500 company. If you're in the market for a new roof I would highly recommend you consider using Whalen.

We truly appreciated their expertise, warmth, and professionalism and enjoyed what easily could have been a miserable and stressful experience. Their prices were the most reasonable of any contractors we called and their estimate was by far the most thorough. We will be calling Whalen any time we need exterior work done and you should, too - they cannot be beat! Thanks for a job so well done.

Mike, who came out to provide the estimate was very professional and knowledgeable. We selected Whalen because they were able to explain what we needed and why. The crew that came out was friendly and were extremely hard working. Also, … More another Mike who was head of crew was extremely knowledgeable, kept me informed as the job progressed and was able to address any issues. Whalen was a GREAT choice.

I cannot say enough good things about Whalen Exteriors, Kenny (our Project Manager), and the crew. Whalen Exteriors recently replaced a roof for us. From the beginning, the estimate was professional, detailed and explained everything … More that needed to be done on the roof. When the crew showed up, they were courteous and respectful. Completed the work in 2 days as promised and did a complete clean up on the yard of debris! We had a big issue with rotten wood and joists, which Kenny took care of personally, and we were charged a very very reasonable amount for the additional work. Excellent company, excellent service, great prices. Highly recommend!

Whalen Exteriors gave our home a fantastic (and much needed) facelift ! Professional crew and informative daily updates through the whole remodel. No pushy sales, just gave information on all the choices we could choose from and went above … More and beyond to ensure we received exactly what we wanted for our home’s upgrade. The estimated costs were more than fair and we are extremely pleased with the finished product. They also were meticulous with daily AND end of job clean up — leaving our property looking better than ever !!Can’t recommend them enough !! Will be calling them for more projects in the future. We had a new roof, siding, soffit and fascia, and gutters installed by Whalen Exteriors. They are extremely easy to work with, and very professional. Their quotes are the most detailed of anyone we looked at. The products are top notch … More and the installers are thorough and very good at what they do. They were very protective of the property and cleaned up after the job. Don’t second guess going with Whalen. They will do you right. We will be using them again.

Everyone that we interacted with at Whalen Exteriors was knowledgeable, punctual, efficient, and friendly. Our project included replacing the roof, two skylights, and fiber cement siding that needed to be spaced properly above the back … More porch roof. The process started with a representative showing up and walking through our options and confirming they could manage the siding issue. They did NOT give us an ultimatum to make the decision with an “only available today" quote that some other roofing company tried to force on us. We took the time to discuss our options and landed on Whalen because of their warranty, availability, appropriate pricing, and knowledge of working with our fiber cement siding, something other companies wouldn't even touch. Whalen Exteriors scheduled the roof replacement as quickly as possible given the weather and they were done with the roof in one day. Two days later experts showed up and discussed how they were going to manage the fiber cement siding – it looks amazing and now meets the requirement of spacing between the J channel and shingles. We highly recommend Whalen Exteriors services for the expertise, finished product, and customer experience. If you're going through the process of getting quotes for a roof or siding replacement make sure to include Whalen.

I’m extremely happy with our new roof from Whalen! They went above and beyond to work with my family. I felt we were getting a good deal and working with honest people. Another roofer quoted us $15,000 more than Whalen and was selling us … More a line of credit instead of a roof. The payment and install process couldn’t have been easier, the crew was quick, efficient and respectful. So happy we went with this local company!

Please excuse the lengthy review, but I have to give a huge thanks to Whalen Exteriors and I feel compelled to tell the whole story so you can get a good sense of why you should work with this company. I called several contractors needing … More my roof replaced on short notice due to a series of bad roof leaks on an very old flat roof system and was in a rush to get the project started with the Spring rain well on its way. Shawn Whalen himself CAME TO MY HOME THE VERY NEXT MORNING after we spoke on the phone to evaluate my roof. While I had to chase other contractors down for their bids, he sent me his bid in a timely manner. Not only that, HIS BID WAS COMPETITIVE with the other 2 estimates I obtained and more importantly, HE AGREED TO PUSH BACK OTHER JOBS to accommodate our roof project... it was an emergency since our roof was actively leaking! We had to wait a week or so for the weather to warm up to start the project due to the manufacturers recommendation. Shawn really listened, because he knew my wife and I were very worried about the leaks and we had bad weather coming. So two days later he came out with one of his guys and patched our roof. That day after the patch job, we had a big rainstorm and were able to sleep through the night. It was the first time we hadn't worried about our home getting additional water damage in several weeks. We were really nervous leading up to the project because firstly, it's such a big financial commitment, and second, we didn't want to have to deal with any roof issues going forward for a really long time. The days leading up to the install, I was frequently texting Shawn with questions as well as requests for colors and materials I preferred for the re-roof. HE WAS ALWAYS QUICK TO GET BACK TO ME with answers and to confirm the changes to my order and NEVER GAVE THE IMPRESSION I WAS BOTHERING HIM. When the project got delayed a couple days due to the weather, Chuck from his office kept me updated. Big shoutout to Chuck! His project manager got sick the first day of the install so Shawn showed up to make sure everything got started without any problems. HIS CREW WAS WELL STAFFED, EFFICIENT, AND FINISHED THE JOB IN 2 DAYS. They came back on the 3rd day to do a quality check without me asking. For anyone who has coordinated renovation work on their home in any capacity, you know how rare it is to have a truly professional experience with a contractor. We are thrilled with the job Whalen Exteriors did!

My wife and I just recently moved into a new home. The house was in overall good condition but one of the things it needed was a new roof. We reached out to a few vendors to get quotes on a new roof, gutters, and downspouts. By far, … More Whalen provided the best proposal. We are more than happy with the outcome. The team was extremely professional, answered all my questions to satisfaction, and left us extremely happy with the quality of the install. We have already recommended them to our neighbors who have asked about our roof. Go with Whalen and you won't be disappointed! We plan to use them on our next project.Update (Job 2): We recently had Whalen remodel our kitchen. If you read nothing else -- they did an outstanding job! Throughout the process, Whalen took care of coordinating everything from start to finish (with cabinets and counters). The process was more than seamless. The team was prompt, provided a high quality of craftsmanship, and cleaned up to perfection at the end. We are more than happy. Thank you Whalen! See attached photos of before and after. Note, the room behind was a mess so I blurred it out :).
