About The Role:

As a Roofing And Siding Technician, you will be responsible for handling various tasks including punch list repairs, pre-build inspections, post build QC inspections. Roofing, siding, gutter, flashing repairs.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform roofing repairs of all types. (Shingles, Metal, Slate, Rubber). This may include replacing skylights, flashing, pipe boots, penetration flashing, etc.
• Perform siding, soffit and fascia, gutter repairs. •Perform pre build inspections of full replacements to ensure that jobs are properly set up and run as smoothly as possible
• Perform post build inspections of full replacements to maintain quality control and ensure work is done up to company standards.
• Perform any punchlist repairs.
• Opportunity to upset services during pre inspection, earning a commission on the upsell.

What You’ll Need:

• Working knowledge of residential and commercial roofing materials and procedures.
• Proficiency with bending aluminum flashing, fascia, and trim with a brake.
• Basic technology skills/willingness to learn apps and programs we use.

The Sales Associate’s job is to sell roofing and siding jobs at the correct margins to ensure the company’s profitability. To create and maintain healthy rapport with all customers and vendors, and to always represent the company in a professional manner.

About The Role:

Qualifications:

• Must be extremely presentable in person, with strong social/people skills.
• Must have truck or SUV, and be able to get on ladder and perform roof inspections. (Training available)
• Past sales and/or sales experience in construction or trades is highly desired.
• Must be a Fire Starter, with a great attitude, that can inspire and motivate others.
• Must be able to work weekends. •Must be able to work independently and with a team.

Whalen Exteriors is looking to hire an experienced  roofing project manager. Applicants must be able to install soffit, fascia, gutters, siding, roofing and repairs. Must be proficient using an aluminum brake to form fascia, trim, flashing for roofs, etc. Experience in framing and basic carpentry is preferred. Must be able to perform repairs and other small tasks, as well as identify and solve possible problems during installation. The Project Manager plays a key role in the long-term success of Whalen Exteriors.

Responsibilities include: directly overseeing crews and job sites, maintaining our standards for quality installations, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive experience for our employees, sub-contractors, and customers. Additionally, the Project Manager is a brand ambassador, protecting the company’s reputation with customers and suppliers, as well as current and future employees. Must be able to communicate with customers and lead & supervise subcontractors. Must be able to work through and solve problems that arise during construction with little direction. Must be able to work at heights with required safety measures. Must have personal hand tools. 

Duties:

• Maintaining a professional image and positive attitude at all times
• Communicating with customers to understand their needs

• Proficiency in exterior remodeling.

Requirements:

• Valid PA Driver’s License
• Clean Driving record (in order to drive company vehicles)
• 2 years experience in exterior remodeling/carpentry (roofing, siding, gutters, soffit & fascia)
• Personal hand tools
